Planning to visit Michael’s?

Here’s how to make the most of your visit!

Chances are you don’t have time to spare. In today’s world, it feels like we’re all rushing about just trying to get through each day with something knocked off of our list.

That being said, we want your visit to Michael’s to be as productive as possible. Check out our three tips for maximizing your visit so you can be in and out and one step closer to finishing your project!

  1. Give us a call before you come. We always have sales representatives and office staff available to help with clients that swing by on a whim, but if you are coming for a unique or very specific need, call us. This helps us ensure that the right person is present to help you with your specific needs. Some customers are looking for specialty and specific items (such as a specific brand of carpet, specific type of luxury vinyl plank, advice on cabinet renovations, etc.). Our sales representatives specialize in certain areas, so we want to make sure we have the right person to help you with your needs.
  1. Bring Pictures! If possible, come in with a general idea of what you want/need. (That being said, no big deal if you have no idea. We’re happy to help either way.) Many of our customers begin to envision a project in their minds. Some people will browse sites such as Pinterest as they begin to envision out-fitting or refitting spaces in their home. If you see something you love, screenshot these images, or save them and bring them with you. Images and descriptions always help us better understand your style and taste, which helps our sales staff better direct you to the product choices that will suit your home.

We love seeing pictures. (By the way, feel free to come back into the store to show us before, during, and after pictures at any time). We would love to feature your project on our website as an inspiration to others!

  1. Try to think about your budget. We know this number can vary dramatically; however, it helps us to serve our customers better if you can come in with a range or some type of price point. Whether your range or price point is a few hundred dollars or a few thousand dollars, rest assured that we will offer competitive pricing and high-quality products.

Knowing your budget (even if it is a wide range) helps us better direct you to products that fit your needs. Once we complete measurements and create a quote, we do not want to disappoint you with a product that is out of your budget (on either end)!

We want to be a business that serves our customers as best as we can. These three tips can help you maximize your visit to Michael’s Flooring & Cabinets, but you are welcome to drop by the store any time. Check out more helpful tips on our blog. See you around the store!
